Here are three powerful practices, including the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), to help you release money blocks and move toward abundance.

1. Body Scan for Money Stress

  • Sit in a quiet space and close your eyes.

  • Think about a financial goal or a money-related decision (e.g., asking for a raise, increasing prices in your business, or saving more money).

  • Notice any sensations in your body—tightness, heaviness, or unease. Where do you feel it? Is it in your chest, stomach, or elsewhere?

  • Acknowledge these sensations without judgment. Say to yourself, “It’s okay to feel this way. This is just my body showing me where I need to shift.”

2. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping for Money Beliefs

  • EFT, also known as "tapping," is a powerful tool for releasing emotional and physical tension. It involves tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on a negative thought or emotion.

Steps to Use EFT for Money Beliefs:

  1. Identify a limiting belief about money, such as “I don’t deserve to be wealthy” or “Money is hard to earn.”

  2. Rate how strongly you feel this belief on a scale from 1 to 10.

  3. Start tapping on the following points in order while repeating a phrase like, “Even though I feel [limiting belief], I deeply and completely accept myself.”

    • Eyebrow: Tap the point where your eyebrow begins near the bridge of your nose.

    • Side of the Eye: Tap the bone on the outside corner of your eye.

    • Under the Eye: Tap the bone under your eye, just above your cheek.

    • Under the Nose: Tap between your nose and upper lip.

    • Chin: Tap the indent between your lower lip and chin.

    • Collarbone: Tap the area below your collarbone.

    • Under the Arm: Tap about four inches below your armpit.

    • Top of the Head: Tap the crown of your head.

  4. Repeat this process for several rounds, adjusting your phrase as you begin to feel a shift. For example, “I am open to releasing this belief” or “I choose to feel safe with money.”

  5. Reassess how strongly you feel the belief on a scale from 1 to 10. Notice any emotional or physical shifts.

EFT helps calm the nervous system, reduce emotional intensity, and reprogram the body’s response to limiting beliefs.

3. Visualizing Abundance While Grounded

  • Stand or sit with your feet firmly planted on the ground.

  • Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

  • Imagine yourself achieving your financial goals: seeing a growing bank account, running a successful business, or feeling financially free.

  • As you hold this vision, check in with your body. Do you notice any tension or resistance? If so, breathe into those areas and imagine them softening.

  • Repeat an empowering phrase, such as “It’s safe for me to receive abundance” or “I deserve financial freedom.”
